apt wglc lecture–thanks!

April 10, 2012 § Leave a comment

A big shout-out to the Western Great Lakes Chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology and especially their president (and ISU alum!) Rachel Will for organizing my lecture last night at AIA Chicago–the turnout was cheering and it was a real pleasure to talk to such a diverse and, as ever, knowledgable crowd.  I was glad to see that the Chicago Architecture Foundation got wind of the event and turned out many of its docents–who were also armed with great questions and comments.  Always a pleasure to talk to this crowd, and I’ll quietly hope for another invite next year (which should be just in time for a book signing if all goes well…)
